Warning Signs that Means Your IT Network Needs Monitoring

A company's network is one of the most valued component to keep the business operations up and running. To ensure high performance from network, proactive approach to network monitoring is required. However, if your network displays any of the below mentioned monitoring signs then a monitoring system is required.


Here are some warning signs to look for -

1) Workstations on your network slow down or start to freeze - When you often feel that systems at your workplace freeze, crash or run too slowly without any evident cause then it is a warning sign. The most common reasons can be a virus attack, an attempt of hacking by an outside hacker. When you have a proactive network monitoring services, they check your servers and workstations regularly to scan any virus and malware presence. Network related issues are fixed at an initial stage so that this does not interfere with the network performance or operations.

When you neglect upgrading your software, and delay in applying security patches, you can experience error messages. 4) Firewall is not updated - Firewalls are essential part of network and help in keeping a network safe and secure. Firewall acts as a guard against your network. It determines what traffic elements are allowed to pass through your network gateway. It also acts as a line of defense against any kind of malware activities. Network monitoring ensures that your firewall is up to date and figures out if there is any weakness and rectifies it too.
